The Kansas Lifeline program is an income based telephone assistance plan that provides eligible residential telephone service customers with a reduction in the price of basic local service. Gorham and Waldo customers who are eligible can receive a credit of $18.56 and Luray and Paradise customers may be eligible for a $17.50 credit. Our new office has a great new feature for your convenience. We now have a drive up window and drop box located on the east side of the building. Please enter from the south drive-way.

Digital Cable TV
Gorham Telephone Company would like to let our customers know that on February 17, 2009 all full power broadcast television stations in the United States will stop broadcasting on analog airwaves and begin broadcasting only in digital. Digital broadcasting will allow stations to offer improved picture and sound quality and additional channels.
Please note, if you are a GCI Cable TV subscriber, you do not have to worry about the digital transition in February of 2009.
In late October 2008 our new Cable TV system will be ready for all GTC customers to use. The new system will allow Cable TV to be viewed by everyone of our customers, city and rural.
We will be converting our existing customers to the new system as soon as possible, so please note our office will be contacting you. Watch for more information coming soon!
