Call Waiting
This alerts you with a beep during a telephone conversation that another call is waiting to be answered.
To answer the call press and release the switch hook/flash button. To alternate between calls press and release the switch hook/flash button.
Cancel Call Waiting
Cancels Call Waiting on a per call basis.
To Activate this feature, dial *70 and wait for the dial tone before placing your call.
Call Waiting/Caller ID
Allows you to receive incoming call information while you are on a call.
Three-Way Calling
Allows you to add a third party to an existing telephone conversation.
To add a third party, press and release the switch hook/flash button to place the present call on hold. Dial the third party's telephone number and press and release the switch hook/flash button for a three-way call.
Call Forwarding
Allows you to transfer incoming calls to another number of your choice.
Dial *72 listen for confirmation and then dial tone. Dial the number where you want your calls forwarded. If someone answers, call forwarding is activated. If the call is unanswered, repeat the above steps within two minutes.
To cancel this feature dial *73 and listen for confirmation.
Call Forwarding Busy
Allows you to transfer incoming calls after receiving a busy signal to another number of your choice.
To activate this feature, dial *90 and listen for confirmation followed by a dial tone. Dial the number where you want your calls forwarded . If someone answers, the feature is activated. If the call is unanswered, repeat the above steps within two minutes.
To cancel this feature, dial *91 and listen for confirmation followed by a dial tone.
Call Forwarding No Answer
Allows you to transfer incoming calls when the call remains unanswered for a predefined period of time.
Dial *92 and listen for confirmation followed by a dial tone. Dial the number you want your calls forwarded to. If someone answers, the feature is activated. If the call is unanswered, repeat the above steps within two minutes.
To cancel this feature, dial *93 and listen for confirmation.
Speed Calling
Allows you to call a telephone number from a list in memory.
To store the list, dial *74 for one-digit Speed Calling (codes 2-9), or dial *75 for two-digit Speed Calling (codes 20-49). Listen for confirmation and dial tone. Enter the Speed Calling code (2-9 or 20-49), then the telephone number. Listen for confirmation and dial tone, then hang up. To use this feature dial the Speed Calling code. To change the list follow the steps to store.
Toll Restriction
Allows you to block calls to certain subscribers with specified destinations.
Warm Line
This feature will automatically dial a preset number if the handset is left off the hook for a period without dialing
Single Party Coded Ringing
Allows you to have up to six telephone numbers with unique ringing patterns.
Automatic Recall
Allows you to place a call to the last incoming call you received.
Dial *69 and wait for the party to answer. To cancel if the call was unanswered or busy, dial *89.
Automatic Callback
Allows you to make a call to the last directory number called.
Dial *66 and wait for the party to answer. If you receive a busy signal, a confirmation tone will be heard and the system will continue to attempt to connect until the party is free. When the line is free, you will be alerted with a special ring. To cancel, dial *86.
Caller ID Name & Number
Allows you to see the calling party's name and phone number before answering the call.
A special display device located on or near your telephone is required to allow you to view the calling number.
Caller ID Blocking
Prevents the transmission of your ID without having to dial any codes prior to placing your call.
However, if you want your ID displayed when you have this feature dial *82.
Selective Call Acceptance
Allows you to screen incoming calls by creating a list of phone numbers from which you are willing to accept calls.
Selective Call Rejection
Allows you to create a list of up to 10 phone numbers from which you do not wish to receive calls
Distinctive Ringing/Call Waiting
Allows you to designate special ringing patterns for calls from parties on a programmed list.
Selective Call Forwarding
Allows you to create a list of phone numbers that are to be forwarded when they call you.
Anonymous Call Rejection
This is used to block all incoming calls that have their ID blocked.
Dial *77 to activate, listen for confirmation and then dial.
To cancel, dial *87 and listen for confirmation.
Last Number Redial
Simply dial #. (Touch Tone Only)
Home Intercom
Dial your 7-digit telephone number, then hang up.
Calling Number Blocking Per Call
Dial *67, wait for confirmation beeps, and then dial.
Voice Mail
Allows you to have a answering system for residential and small business subscribers.
Voice Mail Instructions
To Set up your Voice Mail:
Step 1: Dial the access code for your community
(Gorham 6377700; Waldo 9427700)
Step 2: Enter your mailbox line number (your 10 digit phone number)
Step 3: Enter your pin number when asked. (1234 is the default pin number) (Your pin number can be changed by going to the personal settings menu.)
Also, under the personal settings menu, you can record your name and greeting, etc.
Retrieving Your Messages
From your home phone
Step 1: Dial *83
Step 2: Press the * key while the greeting is playing
Step 3: Enter your pin number when asked
From a phone other than you home phone
Step 1: Dial the access code for your community
